President Trump on Roger Goodell: The commissioner is a dope. Hes a stupid guy

President Donald Trump isnt one afraid to ruffle some feathers. Its his outspoken attitude and ability to go away from the norm that caught the attention of those who voted him into office.

As divisive as Trump himself might be, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is an equally divisive figure around the football world. Heck, one might say that the two could be connected at the hip.

But just dont tell Trump that. The current president had some harsh words for Goodell in comments that were just released by The New York Times.

The commissioner is a weak guy, Trump said. When he made the Ray Rice deal, everybody said: Youre stupid. Youre weak. And it was such a weak deal. So now hes going overboard with their star, Brady.

Its not a secret that President Trump has a personal relationship with Tom Brady, Bill Belichick and Patriots owner Robert Kraft. Its also not a secret that he sided with the Patriots in the whole Deflategate issue.

But for the president to go out of his way to call the NFL Commissioner a weak guy, he must have some strong feelings on this.
